Robbins-Gioia has been a leader in project management innovation for over 20 years, developing cutting-edge PM tools for the U.S. Military. As part of the UI/UX team, we modernized an outdated SQL-driven HTML website into a sleek, high-performance Angular (v16) framework. This overhaul enhanced usability, streamlined workflows, and saved time and money by eliminating inefficiencies in UX paths.
By reimagining the interface, we introduced modern data visualization techniques, including dynamic calendars, timelines, and interactive charts, empowering users with a more intuitive and efficient experience.
ServiceLink is responsible for developing over 35 internal applications using Angular (v8-16). To streamline development across projects, the UI/UX team created the in-house ‘EXOS Design System,’ improving efficiency and consistency throughout their ecosystem.
During my time with the team, we enhanced the design system by developing scalable, accessible components that ensured long-term adaptability. Additionally, we focused on custom components that could be leveraged in future implementations, helping to expand ServiceLink’s customer base while strengthening their digital presence.
ECSI’s Portal is an AngularJS-based solution that we’ve been collaborating on for the past few years. Through a thoughtful redesign, we’ve transformed the UI into a simpler, more user-friendly experience, making navigation and functionality more intuitive.
To better serve our diverse demographic, we’ve also been implementing WCAG 2.0 Level AA compliance, ensuring accessibility for all users. ECSI’s Portal is just one of several platforms that collectively support over 100 schools across the country, helping institutions streamline their digital interactions and services.
EDCO Park & Pool underwent a complete redesign from the ground up, tailored to the needs of its small but dedicated user base. This modernized platform now supports essential features such as online membership purchases, event postings, email blast communication, and even timed session integrations for pool-goers—ensuring a seamless and engaging experience for the community.
Although my time collaborating on the rue21 project was brief, I had the opportunity to enhance the process of creating templates crucial for time-sensitive, weekly promotions. rue21’s user interface operates within a legacy content management system, which presented unique challenges and a learning curve. Despite these complexities, the system continues to effectively serve a large and diverse demographic.
“While GHP has since undergone a redesign, our time on the project allowed us to contribute to meaningful improvements. We collaborated on new web-based tools, including a ‘Food Bank’ database, providing essential resources for users. Additionally, we redesigned various templates to declutter pages, making information more accessible and easier to navigate—especially for older demographics seeking pertinent details quickly.
Initially designed for professionals, the website was not accessible to a broader audience. Built on a PHP framework, it featured a range of custom templates and functionalities, including a highlighted map for conferences, a video database library, an image database library, and a medical calculation tool. These tools empowered Bayer’s sales and marketing teams to conduct live demonstrations, showcasing critical data with ease.
